- • One Month March
- – October 9th: Volunteers to work at a picinic (watching children, handing out food, etc.)
- • Dinner at Hope Lodge – American Cancer Society, Wed. November 2nd 5:30-7
- – Hope Lodge provides free temporary housing for cancer patients receiving outpatient treatment. Volunteers will provide and share a home-cooked meal with patients to help make their stay more comfortable. Each volunteer for this project is required to provide a menu item for the meal. Project coordinators and volunteers will work together to plan a menu.
- • Let’s Get Ready
- Whether it was family, friends or a guidance counselor, everyone needs a helping hand. Only 44% of low-income high school seniors enroll in a four-year college.
- Please vote for Let’s Get Ready here (http://tinyurl.com/LGRonChase) AND encourage others to as well – spread the word to all of your networks! While voting, please check out HeroBox, another great organization in the Heroes category.

Our next general body meeting is this Sunday, February 20, at 6pm in Stevenson 4309. The meeting will feature an appearance of a former and much beloved ARC President. (Guess who?) In addition, if you bring a friend who has not been to a meeting before, both you and your friend get double service hours: 1 instead of 0.5! Come enjoy pizza, hang out, and learn how you can run for a board member position and become more involved with ARC.
